This storage room houses "infrastructure" servers for a self-contained network, supporting roughly 150 hosts for the CNSA program, including two VMware clusters. Viewed: 51 times.

On the wire rack is a 14-node VMware cluster, composed of Dell OptiPlex GX620 desktop PCs. Space and scheduling limitations made VMware an obvious solution for supporting several CNSA courses, compared to housing this hardware in labs. Viewed: 53 times.

Each GX620 currently has 3 GB RAM and around 300 GB local storage. Viewed: 63 times.

No KVM or serial consoles are use (due to budget limitations), but the hardware has been quite reliable so far. Viewed: 53 times.
